Civillian Aeroplanes


On 3 August 2016, the aircraft carrying 282 passengers and 18 crew crashed while landing at Dubai International Airport. All 300 people on board survived the accident; 32 were injured, 4 were seriously injured.The Emirates fleet is composed of two wide-bodied aircraft families, the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777. The airline also has the Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777X and Boeing 787-9 aircraft on order.

The Beluga Airbus

The Beluga took its first flight in 1994. The Beluga has the largest cargo volume of any aircraft in the world. A newer version is scheduled for production.
